SCALT to offer members an informational webinar in coordination with SC Energy Office on the SC Home Energy Rebate Program. Register for the webinar on August 26 at 3pm to learn more about the program and how SCALT contractor members can be involved.
South Carolina’s Home Energy Rebates Program will helps residents reduce the cost of energy-saving home improvements. Eligible upgrades include heating and cooling systems, insulation, air sealing, electrical upgrades, and high-efficiency appliances.
There are two programs that SCALT members can participate in:
- Home Efficiency Rebates (HOMES) – any homeowner is eligible for this program.
- Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates (HEAR) – low and moderate income households are eligible for this program.
SCALT is excited about the benefits to SC homeowners and HVAC/Plumbing Contractors that utilize the program.
