Learn directly from Joe Joe The HVAC Man!

Joey is back to share with fellow SCALT members that understanding how a gas furnace sequences through its operation is the foundation for diagnosing it quickly. This session is the perfect excuse to enjoy your morning coffee or to kickstart any pre-shift meetings.

In this session, Joey covers the full sequence of operation and then dives into the most common failures technicians encounter in the field—what causes them, how to identify them, and how to prevent comebacks. Topics include high-limit trips, flame sensor nuisance trips, control board failures, low-voltage issues, pressure switch trips, and common flue installation problems. It covers both 90% and 80% gas furnaces.
