Originally from Elizabeth City, North Carolina, the McCall family made their way to Johnsonville, South Carolina in the year 1945. After settling their family into their home and small farm, Mr. Jim McCall began pursuing his ambition for running a small electrical contractor business. And the rest was history!

Mr. McCall was ahead of the times, jumping into the industry just as electrification was making its way to rural South Carolina. As one of the first electrical contractor firms in rural Johnsonville, his company experienced incredible success and impressive growth.

His success motivated him to expand his business. He added central heating and cooling services, and in 1969 he became one of the first HVAC distributors in South Carolina. Serving Johnsonville and the surrounding areas, Mr. McCall was able to supply his customers with high-quality products including:

• Replacement parts

Although Mr. McCall passed away in 2005, his vision and values live on through the legacy he left behind in McCall’s Supply. Mr. McCall’s hard work became the framework for the business we run today.

Since first founding his small electrical contractor business, we have watched a small-town business grow into a regional distributor with 19 locations in South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia.

Successful expansion of the HVAC distribution business has allowed us to partner with other dealers. We use the knowledge we have acquired over time through trial and error and pass it on to our team members, empowering them to run highly successful companies focused on meeting their customers’ heating, cooling, and water heating needs.
